International scientific-practical conference "Preliminary investigation and prospects for its development"

On April 7, 2018, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted the scientific and practical conference "Preliminary investigation and prospects for its development", dedicated to the creation of an investigative apparatus in the internal affairs bodies.
This conference was organized and conducted according to the Basic Plan of Activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Plan of Scientific Events of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2018, the main purpose of which is to listen to scientists and practitioners with proposals and analyzes related to the investigation of crime and its prospects.

The conference was attended by eminent domestic scientists, judges, prosecutors, investigators and heads of investigative apparatus of the Interior Ministry, as well as representatives of the Tashkent State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first time.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Honored Lawyer of Tajikistan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Militia Colonel-General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro made a welcoming speech and noted that the reform of the criminal procedural legislation is the most important condition for securing legality in the judicial process, and the topic discussed at the conference is undoubtedly closely related to ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Further, the Minister of Internal Affairs noted that the opinions and proposals expressed by the participants of the conference would have a positive impact on the improvement of the criminal procedural legislation, academic disciplines and practical activities of the internal affairs bodies.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure of the Tashkent State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Faiziev Sh.F. addressed the forum participants with a report and a presentation on the comparative analysis of the investigative bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
