On May 10, 2024, on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, in honor of declaring 2024 the “Year of Legal Education,” an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan on the topic “Problems of combating crime in the Eurasian space”.
172The international conference with an opening speech was opened by Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro - Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Alizoda Zarif - Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legal Issues, Bodrov Nikolay Filippovich - President of the International Public Organization "Union of Criminologists and criminology", Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department forensic examinations of the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin.
173Domestic and foreign scientists and experts took part in the conference in person and online, made reports on ways to combat modern crimes, crime prevention, countering terrorism and extremism, and also made a number of useful proposals for strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies in this direction.
174It should be noted that the delegation of guests and conference participants in the courtyard of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs got acquainted with the scientific and sports achievements of the Academy, toured the classrooms, and demonstrated demonstrations with weapons by female cadets of the educational institution.
