Department of Information Security and Digital Technologies of Faculty No. 5 of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan

Head of the department – Aripov Anvar Lutfilloevich, candidate of law, colonel of militia, in 2011, under the guidance of doctor of law, professor V.P. Bozhyev, in the dissertation council at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Moscow), he prepared a PhD dissertation on the topic: "The activities of the investigator in collecting and verifying evidence at the preliminary investigation (according to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan)."

         The Department of Information Security and Digital Technologies is a new structural unit of the Academy, providing training to cadets and students in the field of disclosure and investigation of crimes committed using information and telecommunication technologies. A number of factors contributed to the creation of the department, in particular the development and dissemination of new information processing technologies. In modern conditions, the development of information technologies and the spread of technical means of processing it have contributed to the fact that such technologies are increasingly being used for illegal purposes, including in the commission of crimes. In order to successfully and effectively combat such negative public manifestations, it becomes necessary to study theoretical knowledge regarding the use of information technologies and their use in solving and investigating crimes. In connection with this, by Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 27, dated February 25, 2023, the Department of Information Security and Digital Technologies was established at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Aripov A.L. from March 2023 to the present.

         The department within the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan acts as a structural unit that organizes training, scientific activities and educational work, and conducts training sessions on the subjects "Fundamentals of Information Security" and "Computer Forensics" at faculties №2 and 6 of the Academy.

         Since the day of its formation, experienced and responsible teachers have been appointed to the department, including: Tashrifzoda F.H., Abdulamidzoda A.A., Kuvvatzoda S.K.,, at the same time, industry workers with academic degrees and specialists in the field of information and telecommunication technologies, in particular, Candidate of technical Sciences Numanov T.I., co-founders Rasulzod L.H. and Karimzoda O.H., were attracted for cooperation.

         Currently, the staff of the department includes the following employees: Aripov A.L. – head of the department, Ph.D., militia Colonel ; Tashrifzoda F.K., associate professor of the department, colonel of militia; Ibodzoda M.M. - senior teacher of the department, captain of militia; Fayzullozoda D.K. – teacher of the department, lieutenant of militia. And also part–time teachers Numanov T.I. - assistant professor of the department, Candidate of Technical Sciences; Rasulzod L.H. and Karimzoda O.H.
